Coach Matt currently coaches and teaches at Jordan High School. Coach Matt played college baseball at Dowling College from 2006-2009.
Zach played at NCCU 2013-2014. Zach was named All-MEAC Academic and Second Team NCCSIA All-State Honors for 2014. In his senior season, Zach hit .305 leading the MEAC with 49 scored runs. Zach started at SS for both 2013 and 2014 fielding a .950 his senior season.
Zach also played two years at Wake Tech Community College as a MIF.
Luis Diaz played at NCCU in 2012 and 2013. Luis was named 1st Team MEAC in 2013 hitting .320 his Senior Year and in 2012 hitting .351 his Junior Year. Luis was a vocal leader for the team bringing toughness and attitude to the field every time he played.
Luis also played at Monroe Community College in New York for 2 years leading the team in BAT AVG, SLUG, & OBP.
Ron played 2 years and red-shirted one year at NCCU. Ron was plagued with a shoulder injury throughout his career. Battling through the injuries, as a Senior at NCCU, Ron hit 7 Home Runs, with 27 RBI's and 30 Runs. Ron was also a 2014 All-MEAC Academic Team.
Ron also played two year South Eastern Community College helping them win the NJCAA World Series hitting .315 with 9 Doubles, 10 Triples, 45 RBI's and 49 Runs scored.
Coach Paul Garcia has now been coaching with the Riptide for 4 seasons. Paul has coached 15+ year of little league, travel ball, and middle school baseball. Coach Paul specializes in infield, pitching and hitting for youth baseball players.
Nick graduated from Tiffin University in 2016. Nick hit .341 in his senior season with 13 Home Runs and 50 RBI's playing 3rd base.
Nick is now in his second season coaching with Riptide's 10u team while going to graduate school at Campbell University.
